I was updating my AUR packages and one of them went... well a bit crazy, to put it mildly. I have no idea what all it was doing, but I have the very end of the terminal output for the update before I killed it when it tried to do the next package. I don't even know what package it was trying to update, because it was giving constant output and I can't scroll back remotely close to when it started flipping out. If anyone else could test the packages I think it might be helpful. I doubt it's a real problem, I'm just a bit worried that it could be a security issue, as I have literally no idea what it was doing. The terminal output is available on request (I just don't want it publicly out there in case it has something personally identifying in it, since I don't know what all is in it). In any case it might just be good to know what is causing this in case it is a bug that needs to be patched.
Packages that could have been the problem:

It shouldn't be the "brotherhl..." packages. They're just printer drivers and I had just installed them around 30 minutes earlier. I also checked journald, and it wasn't very helpful either, the last entries were the following:
26 Nov 2025 16:59:33 sudo myusername : TTY=pts/1 ; PWD=/home/myusername ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/pacman -D -q --asdeps --config /etc/pacman.conf -- valgrind
26 Nov 2025 16:59:33 sudo pam_unix(sudo:session): session opened for user root(uid=0) by myusername(uid=1000)
26 Nov 2025 16:59:33 sudo pam_unix(sudo:session): session closed for user root
More of the journald log is also available on request. Again, I just don't want to accidentally include something personally identifying.
Thank you for any help with this!

Post what you have.
You can also
yay … |& tee /tmp/yay.log(from your rendition and the list of packages I assume you're using yay. I also assume that's what's causing your problem itfp)
