Hi all. I'll try to give as much info as possible. I'm using a PC built back in like 2012, so it's all older hardware. I can't get my system to use the card, it's only using llvmpipe. Before you say, I know wayland doesn't play nice with nvidia but I originally was using XFCE (still installed) and it isn't working with XFCE either.
I'm dualbooting arch and windows 7 on the same drive. Windows 7 recognizes and uses the card with drivers installed so I know it's not a hardware malfunction. Here's my system specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 560

If the hardware is just too old to get working properly, that's alright, but I'm hitting dead ends looking through the wiki and google.

What does `lspci -kd ::03xx` show?

Please use

tags, not "quote" tags. Edit your post in this regard.
I know wayland doesn't play nice with nvidia
wayland doesn't work AT ALL w/ the 390xx drivers, so forget about that.
Return to xfce4 and then please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General

Understood. I'll be on XFCE for the foreseeable future.
