Hello,
I have a combined wired headset with a TRRS jack that is detected but doesn't seem to output any audio or record sound. With the built-in laptop speakers and mic, both the audio and microphone work fine.
How can I fix this to get audio output using the headset? Could this have something to do with the driver assigning the wrong function to the tip/ring/ring/sleeve of the jack?

I use this guide for doing audio on Arch;

One and done command:
sudo pacman -S pipewire pipewire-pulse pavucontrol && echo '/usr/bin/pipewire & /usr/bin/pipewire-pulse & /usr/bin/pipewire-media-session' >> ~/.xinitrc
You can then use pavucontrol to set the default audio output. Hopefully this works for you!
