Brightness stuck at 100% and broken Bluetooth on Asus TUF A14

Hi everyone,

I bought this laptop over three months ago, and I still haven’t been able to fix some hardware issues. I suspect that there simply aren’t good Linux drivers for this specific model. I’m using the G14 kernel provided by linux-asus, but so far there’s no improvement.

Issues:

Brightness: Stuck at maximum and cannot be changed, neither automatically nor manually.
(Update: today, 5 min after writing this, at the 4th reinstall finally i'm able to change somehow the brightness by scrolling on  waybar, tho this is really uncontrollable and left me a couple time with a black screen that could not be turn on with a button...)

Bluetooth: The service is broken — when scanning, it only finds the laptop itself.

I’ve tried other distros like Fedora and Manjaro, but the problems persist due to missing drivers.

Other notes:

Everything else seems to work, including keyboard backlighting.

The NVIDIA GPU doesn’t show up in nvidia-smi, though this isn’t my main concern right now.

Has anyone encountered these issues or have suggestions on how to fix them?

The laptop is the Asus TUF A14 FA401KM with AMD ryzen 7 ai 350 and nvidia 5060 laptop gpu
