[solved] Rust Version

Arch Linux has the latest version of Rust (1.92), but every time i start a new project using cargo, the edition option in Cargo.toml is set to 2021. If i change the edition to 2024 i'll get an error saying when running cargo run:

The package requires the Cargo feature called `edition2024`, but that feature is not stabilized in this version of Cargo (1.83.0 (5ffbef321 2024-10-29)).
Consider trying a newer version of Cargo (this may require the nightly release).

.
Now Zed is throwing an error saying the installed rust-analyzer only support 1.90 and higher. Is there any reason why the packaged cargo version is at 1.83.0 version? am i missing something?

Thanks in advance

EDIT:
I was missing something... I had rustup installed, stuck at 1.83. (don't remember installing it), and conflicting with the rust package. Reinstalled rust, rustup was removed by pacman and now everything is fine 8)
