[SOLVED] glycin bwrap sandbox choke scenario

Using the primary ArchLinux rolling updates track ( updated )
Older HW:
2GHz Intel processor 4GB Memory
Linux version 6.17.9-arch1-1
Detected architecture x86-64.
systemd 258.3-1-arch
Mate Desktop Environment 1.28.2 ( Full Mate pkg group w extras )

I  am seeing the gdk-pixbuf imposing a choke hold on my basic browsing use and stalling
the flow such, to a very significant disruptive influence to say the least.

I cannot find a suitable kill switch ( disable capability )
I'm  seeing CPU load factors of 4 to 5  to 7 with mate-panel and caja cycles elevated.
The rise due to opening a number of web pages with wide use of graphics active .
This has NOT been a problem in past time use
but became a disruption now elevated to showstopper level.

Is there a resolution available ?

I have attempted disabling elements within the systemd xdg-?????.service units

It seems glycin/bwrap are now native ( low level ) with no reach of control.
Posting first to "Applications & Desktop Environments" but I believe it at least
be cross posted to "System Administration" due to its systemd creep.
--------------------------
Followup mention:
With a significant effort ( having a minimal system I was able to build and patch the problem )
Not a real solution but a fully functional work around fix
Thanks
NOTE:
The problem is being rolled out further into the archlinux eco system ( Found it in a
rescue live build ( squash file system cannot adapt (ie apply said fix) )
archlinux is permissive to AI development cycles not stability but it is a roll out offering
so suffering ( regrettably ) can and does proceed in some instances
Oh well
