[Solved] Need help removing bad aur commits

Hello.
I stupidly doxed my real name in a few commits in the couple of packages I maintain on the AUR.
specifically qlipper and tango-icon-theme both have my full name in one of the commits in each package.
How can I remove them? I don't want this information to be public.
Thank you big_smile

Which identity would you like to use instead?

Is there a specific mailing list where I can post about it on the arch mailing list? I don't want to bother anyone specifically but I couldn't find one on the arch mailing lists.

Just gehenna14 w/ my email. I already edited the packages to say that again but the bad commits are still in the commit history.

Re: [Solved] Need help removing bad aur commits

the list is https://lists.archlinux.org/mailman3/li … linux.org/

for anonymity you could have emailed a tu or arch dev directly

Re: [Solved] Need help removing bad aur commits

From what I can see the commits are already authored by "gehenna14 <slkcrurzlmuq@use.startmail.com>", is this not correct?

on qlipper check commit  2050e015b260212585e151ec92ed9668da659df0
on tango-icon-theme  commit    fa5eb22715eaa43830a9c0f843731b3f409824ff (although this one might end up messing up the commits afterward so I'm not sure)

Re: [Solved] Need help removing bad aur commits

So the name should be hidden and the email should be "bernkastel..."?
