Enable HDR setting is gone on Plasma 6.5.4

I've got this machine with 2 GTX1080 cards connected to two monitors that support HDR (one of them OLED connected via HDMI2a, the other connected via DP).  I don't understand why Enable HDR isn't showing up in Display configuration under Plasma 6.5.4.  It appears on all my other machines in the studio, but not this.

modesetting is on.  I've got the latest nvidia 580.119.02 driver.  I'm running Wayland, of course.  I'm baffled.

I'll list whatever needs to be listed to figure this out.

kscreen-doctor
qdbus6 org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation

and, indeed,

cat /sys/class/drm/*/edid | edid-decode

You'll need https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/v4l-utils/ for that
