[SOLVED] The AUR is unreachable without a VPN

Today I tried to install a package from the AUR but was greeted with a long wait time just for it to fail. then I tried on the browser to open it and same result it takes it's time until I get a timeout error I tried pinging the site and the result is 100% packet loss I tried to reach the AUR on other devices on the same network and the result was the same. my assumption is that my ip somehow got banned or ignored. then I tried using cloudflare's warp and that worked. I also have nextdns running but I disabled it cleared cookies used different dns servers and tried different browsers.

~2 days ago I created a arch forums account (idk if this can even be related to the issue).

I don't know what other details I should give so here we go.

This is my first post so I hope I didn't do something wrong.

[Didn't do anything fixed on it's own if the status of the aur is not 100% on the day the issue occurred just wait it out or use the github mirror]

Thank you for your help I'm already aware of all 3 mentioned links but I didn't want to email an admin asking for unban when I wasn't even 100% sure that this is the case. as for the github mirror thank you I have been using it for my aur needs. I checked the status of the AUR I checked it and it was all green everytime it failed. if we conclude that I have been banned where should I send my email? also for reference if your ip is banned and you know it should you even create a post or not?

today it's working without any issues I didn't do anything at all. it's probably related the slight outage that occurred (okay I won't assume that the status page is absolute even if it says 99% I might just be affected by the malfunctioning 1%).

anyways thank you for your help guys I'll be more patient in the future
