[SOLVED] Does Dolphin Installed Outside of KDE Work The Same?

Hi,

If dolphin is installed with this package outside of KDE in a WM like i3, or a Wayland Compositor, do all the features in Dolphin work just like in KDE, there's no differences?

the theming will be broken, other than that it will be fine.. this applies to all kde programs. you need something like:

https://github.com/hyprwm/hyprqt6engine

or

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/qt6ct-kde

The theming will probably be more like Fusion or whatever the default theme qt comes with. If you want a specific theme for Qt apps I guess you can use Kvantum?
If you want the KDE look, try installing `breeze`.
