I feel compelled, once again to thank all of the Arch developers for their continued interest and hard work on this most excellent distro. Arch is quite simply the best Linux there is, by a significant margin, and is improving all the time. Nearly each time I update or tweak I am pleasantly surprised with a noticeably improved system, and I truly appreciate your efforts.
I anxiously await pacman 3.x, and all future improvements to this premium distro that has no equal.
Thanks to your hard work, Arch is the fastest, simplest and most streamlined and customizable distro from bootup to shutdown which I have ever tried. It has been nearly impossible to break, even for a knucklehead like me, and the community which surrounds it is always helpful and supportive.
Thank you Arch developers and community. ![]()

HEAR, HEAR!
Every day I'm thankful for the work you all put into this distro (Devs and TUs alike). It is much appreciated!

I thought there was only one linux, making it automatically the best of itself there is. ![]()

Most definitely. Many of the people who work on Arch do so behind the scenes if you will. They don't come here asking for respect, but trust me, there is a lot of respect for these people. I, for one, welcome our Arch Dev overlords! ![]()

props++
I'm never not amazed by the amount of development that occurs here despite the small developer crew and user base.

Cheers!!!! Thanks dev team.

Indeed, I can't thank enough the devs for this wonderful distro (and I am really picky about distros, so when I say wonderful it's really because Arch is it).
To get something done, a committee should consist of no more than three persons, two of them absent.

Thanks to all for the appreciative and encouraging words. Speaking for myself, I do this because I love it, so a thread like this is an added and very welcome bonus.
I'd also like to send my own good vibes back to the Arch community - if it wasn't as good as it is, I wouldn't be here now.

its like contributing > donating > saying thx ![]()

Quick, knock on wood for God's sake!
I like Arch just the way it is. It'll be a sad day when its all ubuntu'ified (read: mainstreamed).

I meant mainstreamed as in Slackware or Gentoo userbase.

yep, A truly big Thanks! to the devs.
I'm too pretty darn picky about distros, and they usually disappear in
a week or two due to something I don't like. But with Arch, been in since
November and can't think of a reason to let it go.
And when I thought about why, I really think its because of fantastic devs and a
really good community IMO.

thanks devs, and keep up the good work ![]()
