I recently installed Arch Linux with the KDE Plasma DE. I'm running into an issue where when I wake up from sleep/suspend, my monitors will wake up but then instantly fall back into sleep mode as if they weren't being driven. I can manually fix this by going into the TTY and typing 'systemctl restart sddm'.
What I have done so far:
- Verified that '/sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modeset' shows a 'Y'
- Added an nvidia.conf to my '/etc/modprobe.d' directory which contains 'options nvidia_drm modeset=1'. Then, I re-ran 'sudo mkinitcpio -P'.
I am on linux 6.18.2.arch2-1, plasma-desktop 6.5.4-1. I have yet to try reproducing this on X11.
Are there any further recommendations for me to try and fix this issue?
