"No signal" on login [Hyprland]

On login from GDM, Hyprland shows a black screen for a few seconds (as usual). However, instead of forwarding to the desktop like it should, nothing happens and the monitor displays a "No Signal" message.

Gnome and Plasma both work, seemingly without flaws. Also, if I launch Hyprland by executing it from a terminal emulator in Gnome, it seems to work just fine.

On exit (either due to pressing Super+M or pkill hyprland, Hyprland segfaults, but I doubt this is related.

Re: "No signal" on login [Hyprland]

My guess is that Hyprland is picking up the wrong GPU.   I'm not going to be of much use here -- I run Intel Iris graphics only.  You might check out  https://wiki.hypr.land/Configuring/Multi-GPU/ for hints on this.

I don't have multiple GPUs or integrated graphics.

Re: "No signal" on login [Hyprland]

Solved by changing "highres" to "preferred" in the monitor configuration of my Hyprland config.
