Re: Autmount devices

That worked, now my final issue maybe possbily unrelated is i cannot get my dvd's to play, after I installed all the codecs i get:

Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because you do not have the appropriate plugins to handle it.

But I just ran

pacman -S gstreamer0.10-dvdread libdvdcss libdvdnav libdvdread

 reboot

Have I missed something ?

Re: Autmount devices

pacman -S codecs
you don't need to reboot your system

Re: Autmount devices

Try adding yourself to the 'optical' group.

#gpasswd -a USERNAME optical

Re: Autmount devices

Sorted it.

Made a script to install all gstreamer0.10 plugins, works fine now, really appreciate all the help given.
