[SOLVED] Cinnamon: Cannot set desktop background to solid color

After updating cinnamon from 6.6.3-1 to 6.6.3-5, my solid desktop background disappeared and I can't find a way to set it back.  The background settings don't appear to have a "solid background" option:

It appears that some changes here may be relevant.  After the update, my background was replaced by the image at

file:///usr/share/backgrounds/gnome/adwaita-l.jxl

which seems to be defined here.

Am I missing something obvious?

The solution is to set System Settings -> Backgrounds -> Settings -> Picture Aspect = No picture.
