Since last week, sometimes, when I connect a Bluetooth headset, after a few seconds, my session crashes, and I'm back to the login screen (the headset connected successfully though). It looks like it is because of a recent update, since I don't remember having this issue at first.

Here is the output of dmesg : http://0x0.st/PoCX.txt
And for journalctl -b : http://0x0.st/PHsC.txt

It seems to be caused by a segfault on bluetoothd.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: Random session crash when connecting a Bluetooth headset

It might not be because of a segfault in bluetoothd, actually. It happened again just now (I didn't reboot since my last message), and there is no new segfault in dmesg.

Here is the rest of the output of dmesg. It follows directly the output given in my previous message : http://0x0.st/PHzz.txt

Same for journalctl -b: http://0x0.st/PHz-.txt

I can see a lot of core dumps, could it be related?

Re: Random session crash when connecting a Bluetooth headset

Yes, I think we have the same issue, and we are both running the same version of Wireplumber (0.5.13).

EDIT: Same issue on Debian apparently: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo … ug=1124791

Re: Random session crash when connecting a Bluetooth headset

Just downgraded to Wireplumber 0.5.12 and can confirm this was the issue.
