Plasma-Systemmonitor does not show network graph anymore

Hello,
I don't know how long this issue exists, but it is rather new, tops 6 weeks old.
One day the plasma-systemmonitor applet stopped showing any network traffic.
Today I opened plasma-systemmonitor and the network graph here is empty too.
Checked "--help" and "--help-all" in hope to find a (easy) debug mode, but the program does not have one.

I don't know now how to further debug.
There are posts on the internet about such an issue, but helpers like ksysguard are installed and other solutions
are over a year old, while mostly of them are "just update the package".

Any suggestions?

Does traffic show in the system tray icon when you open it?

Yes and this is currently my workaround to check network usage.

Re: Plasma-Systemmonitor does not show network graph anymore

I found this article but its from 2023 so I don't know if it applies.
https://discuss.kde.org/t/in-system-mon … ork/5860/5

The only other recommendations I see out there is maybe a kernel change or some people have some different network usages that affect it.

Re: Plasma-Systemmonitor does not show network graph anymore

Well, if the Arch repository and it's sources are correct, the libpcap dependency is honoured: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … type=heads
And the capability CAP_NET_RAW is honoured too.
