Nvidia legacy and kernel 2.6.20

Hi there

I was just updating my sys and rebooted after the kernel update. I got a geforce ti4400 im my sys and the nvidia driver claimed that i would need to install nvidia-96xx driver for that card. I did this and tried to start X. I get the Nvidia splash, but then it kicks me back to terminal with an error. Just a "Speicherfehler". I am sorry, i dont really know how to translate this

I guess there is a problem with the nvidia-96xx package. I went back to 2.6.19 and older nvidia drivers now.
