This has probably been asked a 100 times but I was unable to find it, but I am curious from the masses. So, how often do you pacman -Syu and reboot? Or do you only reboot if certain files are updated? Do you update to the newest kernel every time there is a new one available?
Thanks!

I'm doing pacman -Syu almost every day and rebooting only on new kernel version.

Same here . Many pacman -Syu's but few reboots . Only after kernel updates.

I'd say on average daily or every other day, usually synced with testing unless some major problems surface with the testing packages. I usually don't reboot immediately afterwards but I do it once a day anyway as I turn my computer off when leaving home.

Maybe pacman twice a week and reboot when a kernel is updated and rebuild e17 every 2 weeks

Not that I'm one who usually goes with the crowd; but pacman -Syu almost daily (using testing also) and reboot when necessary.
PLEASE read and try to FIX/FILE BUGS instead of assuming other have/will.

a little bit mad about using an up2date distro. I do it twice a day.. restart when necessary..

Same here, -Syu every day or so and reboot on new kernel version usually.

Usually daily, except that I wait a day or two when new kernel, udev, xorg, etc updates come out so that I can first read about any bugs encountered by other users.

I try to -Syu daily and I end up rebooting for an assortment of reasons about once a week.

i reboot after kernel upgrades, but also after udev upgrades. /etc/start_udev doesn't seem to work that great most of the time. i had some troubles with the graphics card after that sometimes.
i -Syu pretty often. perhaps too often

pacman -Syu once a day, machine isn't on 24/7 so I never reboot for updates since I turn it off at night anyway.

I pacman -Syu once a day, maybe every other day....
And I have a laptop, so I reboot probably once a day, and hibernate about 3 times a day.

I do a pacman whenever there is any new updates. I reboot my desktop on new kernels or major updates and my laptop I shutdown whenever I am not using it.

I answered your question above, but here are a couple more "how often" related threads for your review:

I run updates/upgrade usually a few times a week (3 o 4) but I never reboot afterwards ... that's for Windows users
