@runtime_horror do you have this problem consistently or just sometimes?
Consistently. Although I haven't accessed AUR in 2-3 months. This problem wasn't there the last time I used AUR.
Could you forward your public ip to accountsupport@archlinux.org?
Alright.

If it's an ISP issue then I'm on Airtel but I'm using Cloudflare DNS (not WARP, just DNS)
Normal repos are working but the AUR is not.

@skeezmoe, add a `-4` to that curl command and you will see it works. That tells you how to work around this issue.

Hi!
I don't have any pending updates, but I did have one or two pending updates from the AUR, and they seem to have gone smoothly.
If I get any TLS errors when installing in the next few days (might need to!), I'll return to this thread again.

everything's working for now!

As I understand it, this is an AUR issue that is completely unrelated to my distro but rather related to network configuration; and yay as a package is independent of the distro being used unless upstream is different (in this case, it isn't and it's common knowledge that it isn't.)
"man pacman", figure what the second "y" does, understand why that's bad for the mirror and dangerous for you and the stop using it until you ever (rarely) really need it.
I know what it does and that's why I've used it; because I want to eliminate any possibility of something being wrong on the client-side.
Sidebar:
This type of constant re-iteration of "you probably don't know what you're doing if you use X distro based on Y distro" is the reason why the Arch community gets such a bad reputation of being elitist snobs who insist on portraying themselves as "superior" or having "better knowledge" to one-up the other guy without considering the context of the issue or the use case and "level" of competence regarding the person on the other side.
while I get that newbie posts are common and they in-fact don't know how to RTFM and this is a go-to response; this exact thing is the cause of all the negativity surrounding a great distribution.

"you probably don't know what you're doing if you use X distro based on Y distro"
Has been said by you and nobody else.
The rules apply to the forum, not that you're also using the AUR or whatever.
And while the particular issue is w/ the AUR infrastructure and the thread hasn't been opened by you anyway, you've already a second thread and so I figured I'm gonna remind you of the situation.
Because you might maybe get that people also tend to very often "forget" that particular aspect.
How you've been trying to fix a AUR related network error by enforcing an update of the repo databases is a secret you may keep for yourself.
But you might get the false pattern shows up extremely often and since
1. you didn't specify your motives or awareness and
2. to steer away future readers
I repeated that mantra as well.
Online
updating my system after about 15 days, i'm getting this same issue in india.
my observation is that it does go through sometimes (rarely) and you get the data you expect. however, that's still not enough for AUR packages to update.

I maintain several Arch systems that I update daily, spread across three different cities in Australia.
As Gromit mentioned earlier, a particular issue was resolved around 15 Jan. For roughly the month prior to that date, AUR connections were extremely unreliable for me. From 15 Jan onward, everything was rock-solid—until about three days ago, when the unreliability returned.
Now, during updates, I frequently encounter EOF errors and have to retry multiple times (often succeeding around the 4th attempt). However, if I temporarily disable IPv6, the connections seem reliable on the first try although I usually don't bother switching IPv6 off and just retry instead.
