Aha!, ntg much your APU is timing out during power state transitions (SMU/UVD). Kind a known issue with the amdgpu driver on older Acer laptops.
Have you tried disabling DPM? if not try this https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters

amdgpu.dpm=0

if that’s too aggressive for your battery, try disabling only UVD power gating instead:

amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd7fff

Testing amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd7fff kernel option now. Will give it some time and then report back here as this issue doesn't happen often...
