Hello
On X11 when I launch openRGB I can save the configuration to the hardware memory, while on Wayland the button that allows to do so is greyed out and it says "Saving not supported".
Does anybody knows how to save nonetheless? This is frustrating because every time I wake from suspend all my led config is lost and I need to reload it manually.

OpenRGB comes with a complementary daemon service that will broker this stuff without having to have the GUI running (as root). What happens if you enable/start that and apply your configuration?

I know it has a dameon, but I don't want to have a dameon running just to keep lights. I want to save to hardware on login and forget. Like I did on x11.
Isn't tehre a udev rule or something?

That's also a possibility. See e.g. this discussion for some general pointers on how to use the CLI to control certain devices/options of using the cli to save and restore a profile. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=299141

Thanks but this does not solve it... I mean why on X11 it works and on Wayland not?
