[Solved]Unable to Connect to Mobile Hotspot

I'm having an issue connecting to my android phone's hotspot. I'm not sure what is causing it or how to begin to troubleshoot it. I'm on GNOME desktop and installed using archinstall. Any help is appreciated.

Does it fail instantly?, Does it say “authentication failed”?, Does it connect but say “no internet”?, or does it keep asking for the password?

When I try to connect, the network icon shows a question mark and no webpages load. Also, when I ping a dns the response is "Destination Host Unreachable".

Looks like you've got a bit of a mess in your network setup. What does `tree /etc/systemd/` show?

You are absolutely correct that I've got a bit of a mess in my network setup. I was able to figure out what is wrong. I had both NetworkManager and systemd-networkd active. I stopped the latter and some other related daemons. Once I did that, it now connects without issue. Thanks so much for all of the suggestions in reply to the OP.
