Hello! I'm on about 3 weeks of using Arch, and I'm loving it so far.
I'm using plasma login manager, and today I decided to enable auto-login with auto-lock, so my startup apps have room to breathe. However, it's very inconvenient that KDE wallet doesn't auto-unlock this way through PAM. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to auto-unlock the wallet in a similar way to how you would do so with SDDM. I tried following the instructions linked at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE_Wa … encryption , knowing that plasmalogin is a fork of sddm, and those instructions are for sddm, but it didn't work. And yes, I altered plasmalogin.service instead of sddm.service. Has anyone found a way for this to work that I haven't found? Thanks!

For testing I just set up a new wallet called "kdewallet" with an empty password, as suggested in the Tip box. Seems to work.
Edit: Sorry, dind't fully realize this is about unocking with the LUKS password.
Did you also modify /usr/lib/pam.d/plasmalogin-autologin instead off ../sddm-autologin?

I did, yes. I also put the line in there before the gnome keyring and other one, which was recommended by someone
