Cosmic desktop, some problems [CLOSED]

Hi,
i tried for few months to work with cosmic desktop but there are few minor problems.

How can you affect application to a type of file ? for example i can't affect vlc to video files, it always use cosmic-player by default ?

Is there a way to kill an application with something like xkill ? there is a bug with clipboard copy, and often it makes application crashes BUT the windows stay on the screen.

Depends on where and how you're opening the file from

Thanks, I try to open it from Cosmic-file. It works fine on plasma, so i guess cosmic doesn't use this file.
