[SOLVED] gcc-libs and libgcc / libstdc++ issue while upgrading
Hi,
After some weeks without updating my Arch, I made an attempt yesterday. However, I can't upgrade a large amount of packages because of dependancy issues with gcc-libs and libgcc / libstdc++.
For example, I have 7zip. If I attempt to upgrade or reinstall it (and only it), I'll have to install this packages : libgcc-15.2.1+r604+g0b99615a8aef-1 libstdc++-15.2.1+r604+g0b99615a8aef-1 7zip-26.00-1. But when launching this install, I'll have this messages :

libstdc++ : /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/libstdc++.mo est déjà présent dans le système de fichiers (appartenant à gcc-libs)
libstdc++ : /usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/libstdc++.mo est déjà présent dans le système de fichiers (appartenant à gcc-libs)
Des erreurs se sont produites, aucun paquet n’a été mis à jour.
-> error installing repo packagesIn substance libgcc and libstdc++ can't be installed because there is already gcc-libs which provides the same files.
When making a full upgrade I get a bunch of warnings about ibgcc and libstdc++ ignored and many packages which can't be installed because of the lack of ibgcc and libstdc++ packages. How should I solve this issue ?

This log is from a partial update. Do a full system update, prepending 'LC_ALL=C.utf8' to the command, and post the full log.
