Trying to set font perminantly in konsole

I checked the wiki for persistent font change but Im not sure if the format for terminus font will work. setfont ter-p24n is what I want to set it as but I cant find any examples in tht format for chnging the config. IM looking in vim /etc/vconsole.conf and FONT=default9x16

When I tried show console font it returned, couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console, but I have installed terminus-font.

Im running plasma if that helps at all

konsole != console
Are you trying to configure the font in the KDE terminal emulator or the DOS-like environment you see when pressing ctrl+alt+f3?
vconsole.conf would only impact the latter and you cannot use pcf fonts w/ konsole (the KDE thing)

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/terminus-font/ ships an otb bitmap font and you should™ be able to use that w/ konsole, alternatively there's https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/an … inus-nerd/
Pretty sure konsole has a config GUI where you can set the font, otherwise see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Font_c … back_fonts and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Font_c … dard_names

I want the font in konsole in KDE Plasma desktop as thats my chosen terminal. I did download terminus-font, but I get the return mentioned earlier, couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console. Ive been on the wiki to try and find the soluton, which is one place I couldnt find any syntax that matched what I know and could not find anything I understood when reading, multiple times. Im dumb.

Are you by chance running setfont? That command is for tty terminals only.
Install terminus-font-ttf, not terminus-font (from AUR), konsole -> right click -> edit current profile -> appearance -> font.
