Minecraft not staying logged in

Started playing Minecraft recently, but the launcher logs me out each time I close the game. It does not persist the login. I've tried updating the launcher and reinstalling. Neither have worked. Not sure if this is an issue others are running into or not.

Please open a new topic and provide some details of how you installed minecraft as well as any accompanying terminal output/logs from whatever launcher you're using.
