[SOLVED] pacman update fails for gegl

$ sudo pacman -Syu

Is this a packaging error - or do I have a broken file in my system?

Or is this waiting for the updated package in testing:

$ pacman -Ss libbabl
extra-testing/babl 0.1.124-1 [installed: 0.1.122-1]

Yeeees, it looks like a packaging bug, but AFAICS that shouldn't affect you since you have the testing repos enabled.

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra-te … 6_64/babl/ needs to move to [extra], or gegl in [extra] needs the soname dependency reverted.

Re: [SOLVED] pacman update fails for gegl

Hi and good evening.

I've got the same issue. Do I just ignore that for the time being?

Thank you for your time!

Re: [SOLVED] pacman update fails for gegl

Presumably the additional dependency will be moved from extra/testing to extra before long and then won't be an issue.

Edit: babl has now been updated too so the issue is resolved.
