[SOLVED] Rename an USB drive?

Related to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=312701 , see https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Oo … dKMtsTSqiK , I did:
Prepare a 16GB or 32GB USB flash drive.
Format the USB drive to FAT32 format (see Figure 1).
but now how to: Rename the USB drive to: WINPE , on Arch Linux KDE? KDE Partition Manager hasn't this option, I googled "arch linux rename drive", I found to use Disks, but it's that (I)GNOME... Maybe a command line?

Do you mean set FAT32 filesystem label?
fatlabel from dosfstools.
You can also specify label when creating filesystem with 'mkfs.vfat -n <LABEL> ...' option.

Re: [SOLVED] Rename an USB drive?

Nevermind about Disks https://www.reallinuxuser.com/how-to-si … -in-linux/ it's rename the partition label, no I mean rename the entire drive, not a partition.

I tried without that WINPE, it doesn't work.

Edit: nevermind I compared the 1st image of https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Oo … dKMtsTSqiK to https://superuser.com/questions/1699345 … windows-11 , yes it's the partition label, a mistake in the .docx... It works!
