The tint2 、polybar、i3bar tray is not displayed

waylyrics tray and some program Trays are not displayed, but the xfce panel is normal

Is it a problem with the tray icon?

Hi, sorry to bump this.

The tray icon of waylyrics, AFAIK, was implemented with ksni, which was directly based on KDE/freedesktop `StatusNotifierItem`.
The Xfce panel, however, implements tray icon via XEmbed protocol, which is incompatible with `StatusNotifierItem`.

> As of xfce 4.15, the functionality provided by xfce4-statusnotifier-plugin has been integrated into the xfce4-panel's systray. Going forward, this plugin is considered to be deprecated.

So with latest XFCE4, you should see waylyrics tray icon works out of the box.
