404 when downloading packages from archive.archlinux.org using 'last'

Hi!

I'm having a problem following https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_L … cific_date to set a particular snapshot for my packages.

In particular, I want to use one of the "special directories" 'last', 'month', or 'week' in a server URL, but I'm getting 404 when it comes to downloading packages.

I'm setting the server address in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist to 'https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/last/$repo/os/$arch', but 'pacman -Syyuu' exits with the following errors:

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Same errors with https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/month and https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/week. However, https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2026/03/01 and https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2026/03/30 work just fine.

Is this use case not supported? smile

Welcome to the forum!

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe these were supposed to be symlinks to the relevant directories. I pinged people in #archlinux-devops. Let’s see.
