Black screen after resuming from suspend

I previously asked a question at https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=312862 which got me past resuming from suspending failing every time.

I think I'm now back to resume from suspend showing me a black screen fairly reliably after 5 or so successful resumes. The symptom seems largely the same, I can't switch to tty and end up using sysrq.

Here is output of journalctl --user --system -b-1 where I ran into this on previous boot and had to reboot. In terms of weird aspects of my hardware, I have a particularly weird keyboard that's running qmk with bits of bitrotted abandonware, my monitor is a 49" Samsung G9 which sometimes behaves strangely, and my motherboard is a Asrock B550M-ITX which I feel like I've seen way more random USB errors in logs than I have ever before.

Can you go w/o that device for a while to see whether it's coming from there? Unfortunately doesn't seem to show up  as JOYDEV

So I recompiled my keyboard firmware and I'm pretty sure it's condensed down to a single "USB device" now, and my PC is back to the old behavior it's always had of failing to resume about once in every 5-10 attempts. Here is journalctl output of the most recent failure to resume. I think this is likely to do with my USB hub or just something with USB, since I see xorg logs to do with my USB devices. I use a UGREEN USB hub that I plug most of my USB devices like keyboard and mouse into so I can switch between my PC and my laptop. Any help would be appreciated, happy to get some different hardware like a full on powered KVM switch.

Step #1 - verify the theory by cleaning your USB stack, ie. remove the hub, *replace* keyboard and mouse  and see whether the problem is gone.
Step #2 - incrementally re-introduce elements to isolate the offender
Step #3 - replace the offender or address its potential problems (once we know where this is coming from we can start to pull some informed strings to see what's falling out)
Step #4 - profit
