adsl usb modem installation

i am trying to install my usb adsl modem
According to the manual, i have to copy a firmware binary file to the folder "hotplug/firmware", but i see that arch doesnt support hotplug, is there any other solution i can use?

thanks in advance

Re: adsl usb modem installation

As Arch uses udev instead of hotplug, the directory for the firmware binaries is /lib/firmware.
For example, I have a Sagem Fast 800 usb adsl modem and I put the firmware binaries in the directory
/lib/firmware/ueagle-atm
