Amiga 4000 Keyboard on Arch Linux

Can the signals (key presses) from a Mini-DIN 6 (PS/2 connection, proprietary protocol) Amiga 4000 keyboard be read under Arch Linux? I am not concerned with whether the signals produce usable output. I simply want to know if any signals are received and if the keyboard works.

Current status: When I connect the keyboard to the motherboard, nothing happens. I've loaded the atkbd module (https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.12/i … html#atkbd) and I've got a working PS/2 keyboard, but unfortunately nothing happens on the Amiga side.

There are Amiga keyboard adapters (PS/2 to USB) that use microcontrollers, and apparently it is possible to install Linux on an Amiga (see, for example, https://www.kernelconfig.io/config_keyboard_amiga). Perhaps a solution exists here as well.

It would really help me get started in the right direction if someone with technical expertise could tell me whether it's possible to do this, recommend a forum to check out, or suggest buying the adapter.
