BSPWM broken after upgrading to 7.0.2 kernel from 6.x.x

This is what BSPWM looks like after startup and opening a few apps. Basically the apps, polybar nothing wants to render the GUI. Initially I thought it was a picom issue so I went ahead and updated that. But it's still not working. I've tried switching from pijulius to main picom as well. That's still not working. FYI I've updated my GPU drivers `470-xx` from AUR

KDE is working perfectly fine

And what's the output of "nvidia-smi" (on 7.0.2)?

Re: BSPWM broken after upgrading to 7.0.2 kernel from 6.x.x

Damn thanks for reminding me I have LTS installed smile

Yes LTS is working perfectly fine with BSPWM.

Here's the output of `nvidia-smi` on 7.0.2

```
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
```

Means you lack the kernel module for 7.0.2, probably failed to build.

Re: BSPWM broken after upgrading to 7.0.2 kernel from 6.x.x

I'm a little clueless there. Could you please leave a guide to how I can apply those patches?

Also, won't this patch be patch be applied to the AUR driver?

You'd have to get the patch and add it to the PKGBUILD, then rebuild the package.

But

Also, won't this patch be patch be applied to the AUR driver?

Eventually, most likely.
