If you want to use the graphical client, you need
to install 'wxpython' and 'wxgtk'
[root@myhost sridhar]# which bittornado
which: no bittornado in (/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/opt/bin:/opt/kde/bin:/opt/mozilla/bin:/opt/qt/bin)
How to istall it with GUI front end?
I have already installed wxpython and wxgtk.

It's .py alright, but the actual filename depends on the operation you want to execute, e.g. for a normal torrent download with gui, it's btdownloadgui.py.

I am guessing that you get your packages from testing, since I do and I had similar problems with picard, which also uses wxwidgets and wxpython
the versions of wxgtk and wxpython in repositories is outdated, and gets installed in the python-2.4 folder instead of the python-2.5 folder.
