try googling your TV name to find the protocol it uses for wireless, then lookup the protocol in combination with linux.

If there are no working solutions, consider using a raspberry pi, an old laptop (you can find some for cheap if you look for broken screens) or a (mini)PC, I'm pretty sure sombody did a both-end software stack.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...

https://github.com/link89/dlna-cast - completely unvetted, but 1001TVs uses DLNA casts

There's one way to figure that and one individual on this thread to go down that way.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve, but if you just want to watch content you could create a samba share in your laptop and access it using VLC in the TV (it's available on google app store).

Re: What program do I use to connect my laptop to a tv wirelessly?

TVs are modern OHPs, but if it's just accessing media from your PC, TVs typically support https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ReadyMedia OOTB.
No need for poorly designed "MS stuff with network" protocols or 3rd party players (though VLC oc also supports DLNA)
