Yesterday, and I think in Monday, I notice that when I entered my password I was denied access. I'm 100% sure that I entered the password correctly. The page sent the default incorrect password message basically, when it was correct.
The most interesting thing is that the issue solved after reset the browser basically. But this beheavior sound strange to me, not sure if firejailed browser plus wayland causes the issue, or those days the login function of the web page was like acting weird sometimes. Anyone having that issue also ?

Possibly, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=298946
There're also ongoing DDOS attacks, https://status.archlinux.org

Thanks for the links. Seems to be that the case. Glad that others had posted the same issue from different parts of the world. Most probably is the DDOS :C

Maybe you should go to the index page, then back to the login page.

Got the same issue going from the index to the login page, starting at the login page directly worked, the error message was:
Bad CSRF hash. You were referred to this page from an unauthorized source.
I'm french, sorry for any mistakes in english.

Hmm, potentially this is an issue with the caching that we introduced in https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … uests/1191.

Ditto for the past day or so until just a few minutes ago.

What can I tell you is the following:
1) I don't have like extreme slow internet. Like I get the forum login approved like in less than a second, maybe two in like worst peak internet day ever, but is more like just a second each day or less after I put the user and psswd. I guess I'm making queries to São Paulo since I'm from Chile ![]()
2) Sometimes is like I had made like 3 or 4 attempts to access my account and failed constantly. That obviously is more than the 10 seconds of the lock_timeout that is defined in the nginx conf, so maybe the first query get dropped out during my 4 attempts, but I still making the other ones and failing. It seems that the only solution is to open the browser again, or going into index page and then go back to login page. I believe I made that also in one occasion and worked. Seems more like the login get soft-locked to the users itself in my opinion, because if you try to reestablish connection with the login again by going back to main or closing browser [Which I guess close all connections to make them again] the soft-locking solves. I guess is something about the caching and related to nginx, but what I'm saying that it seems that some users get soft-locked by previous connections, and you can get out of it if you do the previous steps mentioned.
3) Today I enter nicely in just one attempt ^^
4) Hope this info helps to you and the team <3

I'm not going to add noise to the MR, but yet again couldn't log in all morning via any browser.

If a mod could please move this thread from "Off-Topic" to "Forum & Wiki discussion" it would serve two purposes:
1) It would be on-topic
2) It would be visible when unable to log in. This sub-forum is not.

It should work when you visit the login page directly .. Atleast it did for me

Yesterday I have the issue once. Now today recently have it like many times before I was able to enter the forum. I needed to just restart the browser again. Deleting cache or going back to home page of Arch Linux didn't help at all this time :C
