Laptop display does not turn on after being off for around 50 min

I have a laptop with an external monitor attached.
Sometimes, when the laptop display tries to turn on, it doesn't turn on or my system freezes:

1. after an extended amount of time with both displays have been off for a while

2. or only if the external display is used

I have the exact same problem. I currently run the 7.0.10-arch1-1 kernel.
The GPU shows on lspci as

• Freedesktop #16098 – [ARL] Internal eDP panel blank after resume from s2idle — i915 fails to bring PHY A to idle, C10 PLL parked at idle (7.0 regression)

• Freedesktop #16042 – i915/eDP-1 Arrow Lake-P (P1 Gen 8) C10 PLL collapses to default state on s2idle resume — regression v6.19.13 → v7.0.3

harmathy, thanks for linking those issues. I patched 7.0.10-arch1-1 with the discussed patch, and the issue seemed to disappear. (Although, I've reverted back to latest unpatched kernel, because whenever I booted with LTS, 6.19.x, or the patched kernel, I had idle issues and my fan wouldn't spin down.
