EDIT Solved, I did not pay attention. `run0` actually asks for the passphrase of a different user that is indeed a member of group `wheel`.
And how do I make that stop?
We are talking about a regular user account that has no special rights in the sudoers configuration, and is not a member of group `wheel`.
The user runs a bog-default GNOME Shell Wayland session; it is supposed to be a disposable user for when I use the laptop at some events to play music or stream some videos or some such, and many people are using it.
The people know the user's passphrase so that they can log in or unlock the desktop.
`sudo` correctly denies any attempts to run anything at root, but `run0` has no such qualms and just prompts for the user's passphrase before running anything with root privileges, same with `machinectl --uid=root shell .host` for that matter.
`man run0` states:
Any session invoked via run0 will run through the "systemd-run0" PAM stack.
However there is no file `/etc/pam.d/systemd-run0`.
What do I do to make this stop?
Also, to not put too fine a point on it, what the hell?? I did not see that coming.
