Screen in black after resume from standby

Hey,

I am using Alienware M16 R2 laptop, with intel / nvidia VGA:

$ lspci | grep -i VGA

Recently (I haven't tracked exactly when) when resuming from sleep, the screen stays blank. I have an attached external monitor using HDMI, and it resumes fine and I can use it fine, it's only the main laptop screen that doesn't resume.

I also tried removing the external monitor and then trying it, but same issue. Have to restart to for it to turn back on.

I am using KDE / Plasma, and my system is fully uptodate. Currently on linux 7.0.10, but the issue was present even before that.

Any ideas?
