[SOLVED] thermald 2.5.12-1 daemon doesn't start on Intel Core Ultra 7

After yesterday's update, thermald isn't starting.

Here is the output of `journalctl -xeu thermald.service`:

cze 13 16:56:06 nuc14rvk systemd[1]: thermald.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
cze 13 16:56:06 nuc14rvk systemd[1]: thermald.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'.

I downgraded to version 2.5.11 of Thermald, and it boots up normally.

Same here.  Do you see any other messages from thermald in

journalctl -b

Is your computer a desktop?  If so https://github.com/intel/thermal_daemon/issues/579 is likely related, what kind of CPU do you have?

Hello there. I have mini-pc with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Meteor Lake processor.

You can ignore the first line—it's just a warning. I tried making some changes to the systemd thermald.service file, but since nothing changed, I reverted my changes. In any case, the service starts normally in the downgraded version.

I have mini-pc with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Meteor Lake processor.

thermald 2.5.12 intentionally exits on desktop/non-mobile systems with Intel Core Ultra CPU, see https://github.com/intel/thermal_daemon/issues/550 for the context behind that decision
