HI today I was watching a YT channel talking about the AUR package malicious activity incident, but it was more like a video of teaching how to not get pwned basically on it.
But in the video used brave as an example to show something, then I checked that the supported version from brave official page in the video was brave-origin-bin. That triggers a warning check to me because I was thinking: In which time the package change the name ? I use brave-bin so I went to check into the brave page. When I checked into the official page I gave the suggestion to install the brave-bin package instead of the brave-origin-bin one, which it seems is suggested by other continents in their webpage.
I'm curious about it, since in the AUR both packages are maintained by brave: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?O=0&K=brave
So no sure why is this the case. Like one package is not going to be no longer available in the future ?
Sorry if this is not the place to ask, I know that some stuff must be made in the AUR homepage discussions, but I probably going to do a account on it the next month, in which I'm going to be with more free time to do some stuff that I had been like skiping.
str( @soyg ) == str( @potplant ) btw!
