after shrinking the home partition in cfdisk I can't mount it [solved]

Yesterday I reinstalled Arch to start everything again from the ground up because I think I was a bad user, I deleted the root partition and created new one, I deleted the swap partition [16GB] and shrunk the home partition by [14GB], I didn't use the free space yet and I wont use it until I get some files from the home partition again.

when I try to mount it, this error appears :

mount: /mnt/arch: fsconfig() failed: /dev/nvme0n1p6: Can't open blockdev.
       dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.

Yesterday I read the log below using

 dmesg

so I run

fsck.ext4 /dev/nvme0n1p6

but didn't stop with no telling what it was doing, I can't even stop it using

kill [i]its pid[/i]

I know it's about partition 1 but I have no problems with partiton 1 I just got the idea of using fsck:

after an hour I suspended my system and went to sleep and woke up to write this.
now I reemerged the 30GB in front of the home partition with it to recover deleted files too .
I'll use this tool https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk_doc … ystem.html, but I didn't find any documentation for the option -y in

fsck -y /dev/sda1

presented there.

Does the partition now work again?
You forgot to shrink and move the filesystem - shrinking partitions to the right is a rather involved process and you're encouraged to use the gparted GUI to do so as it requires to compact and move the filesystem.
Since this is an inherently destructive process IT IS HIGHLY ADVISABLE TO HAVE A BACKUP AT THIS POINT!

by the way what does fsck -y do? I didn't find in the internet.
