Kernel 2.6.20 and ATI FGLRX 8.28.8

Hi,

is there any way to make those two (2.6.20 and 8.28.8) work together?

I don't know if people from ATI read any bugs reports but since 4 or 5 new releases heat management is broken, last version has firegl problems etc.
So, I would like to go back with 2.6.20 kernel to the oldest fglrx version that is able to run on it.
