"after-sleep" login screen shows different wallpaper than normal (KDE)

I am using KDE Plasma.

I have a custom wallpaper set on the login screen. You know, i turn on the PC and it is there in the login screen that asks for your password. If, after logging in, i press the Log Out button, the wallpaper is still there.

However, if i instead press Sleep, which i use a lot, when i come back to the PC i am greeted with the DEFAULT KDE wallpaper.

Not a major issue but it does bother me. Thanks in advance!

Where do you store the wallpaper? Is it located under /home or somewhere else? Also, do you use any wallpaper plugins?

The background is stored in /home/[myusername]/Pictures/ (it is called Background.jpg).

As far as wallpaper plugins i dont think so. with wallpaper plugins you mean things like hidamari to make a video play as wallpaper? If so, i dont have any. I selected the background with the KDE Settings thingamabob.

Re: "after-sleep" login screen shows different wallpaper than normal (KDE)

I assume that the background image file is on the same partition as the OS itself (in other words there are no external/network mounts in the Pictures directory). If the file was not in the same partition there could be enough lag before the wallpaper is loaded, but that does not seem to be the case. And yes, that is what I meant with the plugins. The last thing I can suggest is taking a look whether something suspicious is logged in journalctl when the computer goes to sleep and is turned back on.

What you're calling "after sleep login screen" is actually called the lock screen, and its settings are different than the login screen ones. If you want both to have the same wallpaper, you'll need to change it for both
