For some days everytime I open amaroK, it doesn't show the last playlist it I had before. I have to load the albums/songs again. Does anyone know what's wrong?

i have the same problem (on gentoo), using mysql storage, iirc i didn't have this problem when using sqlite (but that was a few versions earlier too)

might i ask, how are you exiting amrk?
actually exit though teh apps shutdown mechanism or killing it (init *)
you need to exit if you want the playlist to be kept.
i've personally never seen it keep the list any other way.

I have my computer up for 7 days. I always close it by choosing "Exit" from the tray icon menu.
I tried to get some help from the #amarok irc channel on freenode, but they are a bunch of idiots. They were playing some trivia game for 20 minutes and didn't even bother to tell me "Leave us alone". :-/

Are you sure you have "Remember playlist on exit" enabled (first screen of Configure Amarok)?
Perhaps 1.4.5 isn't that stable, it ate my collection db twice (on the other hand, it seems it wasn't built from official packages then).

i had this too, built from original sources, but on a gentoo system, that might explain something

Works just fine here - add songs to playlist, exit, restart amarok - playlist reappears. How large are these playlists? Could that have something to do with it? I use sqlite because I'm lazy, so there may be something to the idea that the mysql backend is an issue.
