Booted Arch from USB, want to bring it over to replace mint

Super noob here, I do not know what I am doing. I put an arch iso onto a usb, and set it up, but i do not know how to replace Linux mint (old distro) and "bring" arch over from the usb? Below is my partitions.

NAME    MAJ:MIN RM   SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
sdb       8:16   1 115.5G  0 disk
├─sdb1    8:17   1     1G  0 part /boot/efi
├─sdb2    8:18   1     4G  0 part [SWAP]
└─sdb3    8:19   1 110.5G  0 part /
nvme0n1 259:0    0 953.9G  0 disk

(The sdb stuff is the usb, the nvme0n1 is linux mint)

Re: Booted Arch from USB, want to bring it over to replace mint

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide
recommendation: just read it first - then think about it and try to comprehend - then come back here and ask all questions while reading it a second time
do the first install attempt in a vm while going thru a 3rd time

the guide could benefit from some rework as its written in a way it anticipates the reader already knows it
