[SOLVED] pacman -Syu asking me to import a PGP key

So updating my system today and it's asking me to import a key for DeepChirp. Is this right? I (naively?) thought that these keys just got imported through the process automagically?

I'd rather ask a dumb question that take a dumb/insecure action... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You could also do the following, which most likely would make the issue go away:

sudo pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring && sudo pacman -Syu

I guess that's the bit I thought would 'just happen'? Perhaps I didn't update 'often' enough?

Anyway, thanks, that fixed it for me.

See the blue note - how often is not often enough in your case?

" ... how often is not often enough in your case?"

I've got a Taskwarrior reminder to do it at least once a week.
